A Few Annoucements

Peace Be Upon You

Last week, we announced that there will be editorial changes in this blog where we will put more detailed and educational articles that can actually be useful for all. We want to slowly transform this blog into a great online community for all faithfuls or Ahlulbayt (progeny of prophet Mohammad peace and blessing of Allah be upon him and his progeny).

But while working on these detailed articles, we needed to have room for those short “micro blogs” so we decided to follow the social media path. Between Twitter, Google+, and Facebook, we decided to start with starting an Facebook page  which so far is going great. In less than a week have more than 100 fans and if we keep going at this rate, inshallah by end of Ramadan, we will hit the mark of 1000 fans.

On our Facebook page we will be having daily hadith (narrations) multiple times a day, daily videos, duas, and of course, words of  Allah (swt). We would like to invite you to our and participate and help grow our community.

We also teamed up with Sabz Jewelers. Which is an Islamic Jewelry store online. Our story of teaming up with them is rather interesting. We didn’t know them personally as we were just one of their customers. Over the time, we expanded friendship with them and that is  why we decided to promote them on this website. So when you click on the Store  link about, you will be linking to their Etsy shop of Sabz Jewelers online. For every transaction you do, they will send us 10% commission with that we will pay for operating costs of Faithfuls community and also the local Islamic centers teaching ways of Ahlulbayt (as).

Lastly, we really need your support and donation to make this happen and turn this into an solid online community. Please make a donation and we will use 100% of your donation to cover costs. If there is any money left over, we will donate it to local  peaceful and pro Ahlulbayt Islamic Center.

We submit to Allah (swt) and follow his commands through prophet and Ahlulbayt (peace and blessing be upon them) and we thank you for paying part of this growing community here in north American.

Peace Be Upon You

Editorial Policy Changes and New Types of Content

In the name of Allah, the most Merciful, the most Gracious

اللهم صل على محمد وال محمد

peace and blessing be upon Mohammad and his progeny

When we started this site  over a year ago, we had no direction about where the website was going.  Our main goal was to  dedicate it  this site to  Ahlulbayt (prophet Muhammad and his progeny peace and blessing of Allah almighty be upon them). Hence we started putting random things about them, their teachings and view of Islam.  We also shared many youtube videos, guest posts, even “mirco posts”.

As traffic of this website grows and this page is becoming more popular, we saw the need to tighten our editorial policy so inshallah (God’s willing), we are going to change things a bit so our visitors and audience of this website will not be disappointed when visiting this website.  Below are some of the changes we will be implementing.

Guest Posts – We will only accept guest post by Shia scholars or academic scholars in support of Ahlulbayt (progeny of Muhammad). All guest posts need to be lengthily enough, well written and well presented.

Youtube Videos - We will only embed youtube videos as part of a more comprehensive post. If we  find a video that believe it will have good academic and educational purposes, we will post it but  we will do our best to put a transcription or translation of the video along with it. . Some good examples are this post and this older post.

Some of poor example content we have put on our website is our very last post where as beautiful as it was, it didn’t add any significant educational value to our audience.

Hawza Notes – Hawza, is traditional name of Islamic universities. It literally means “a circle” it resembles the circle of prophet Mohammad (pbuh &hp)  when he and his companions would sit in a circle and prophet would teach them their religion.

We have decided to share some of our Hawza notes  on this website with those whom are interested to learn more about Islamic studies. All the Hawza notes, we will start putting in the Hawza directory.

Other Islamic  Articles – We will make sure of our articles would have a sense of academic or educational value.

Politics and Current Events – Although both politics and social issues are big part of Islam, in this post we try to stay as neutral as possible on this website hence we will try to avoid writing about them. However if really need , we will speak out as we did here.

Please be advised, be will start trimming down content of this blog to keep only those posts we find of acceptable quality that would benefit our users.

Lastly, we ask you to support our website  by either making a donation or shopping from our affiliate (we will earn 10%), all of these will help us maintain and improve this website and our local activity spreading peace and message of Ahlulabyt (peace be upon them).  Also join our Facebook page and let your friends know about it too.

Thank you

Why Sunnis Insist Prophet’s Daughter Fatima Zahra was Not Martyred ?

There is a strong resistance toward accepting the idea martyrdom of prophet’s daughter Fatima Zahra (as). Even though Sunni scholars acknowledge she died at young age, they don’t want to acknowledge she was Martyred. The video below is in Farsi which we will attempt to put traslate right beneath the video

It’s very strange. As you know, from among of 12 Imams (as) and prophet (pbuh&hp), we believe that all these great masters were martyred…there is no doubt in that.

But this is very strange that why isn’t a lot of noise coming from martyred of commander of faithful Imam Ali (as) from Sunnis, Imam Mujtaba, and rest of the Imams such as Imam Jawad and master of Martyres (Imam Hossein (as))!

This is to be questioned that why Sunnis want to deny that Prophets’ daughter Fatima Zahra (as) was not martyred or want to overlook it. And why is it that Shias want to prove she was martyred.

This is an important question and is certainly is an important discussion to be discussed; One side says No it didn’t happen (Sunnis) and other side says yes it did happen (Shias) and has details for it.

And many may argue “why is this topic important if Lady Fatima Zahra (as) was martyred or simply passed away?

Here is why; We need to know that if someone is martyred, that means that person didn’t die with natural death. That means we need to look for reasons and murders of that person. So if one was to accept that Lady Fatima Zahra (as) was martyred, that equates that people need to seek and find out who killed prophet’s daughter!

But if we say “she was only sick and died of natural death” then there is no need to look for a cause of death or murder.

So if ones that Lady Fatima Zahra (as) didn’t die of natural death and was martyred, then you need to look for a murderer.

And Sunnis know, with the advancement of technology and etc, a Sunni youth can find out less than 10 minutes on the internet that the only suspects of those who killed Lady Fatima Zahra (as) are Omar and Abu Bakr. It was them (and their thugs) who broke and burned Lady Fatima Zahra (as) house, insulted the hazra, and martyred her; This is too heavy of concept to digest for Sunnis!

They have blind people for over 1400 years of truth that what actually happened, they idolized Abu Bakr and Omar, and now finding out that they had a role in prophet’s daughter to be martyred.

They (enemies of Ahlulbayt) made many fabricated hadith that praised Abu Bakr and Omar, making them look like great scholars of Islam telling people get your religion from Abu Bakr and Omar and your Islamic teachings from Othman, and today a Sunni youth can find out that Abu Bakr and Omar are the first suspects of those who hurt and killed prophet’s daughter Lady Fatima Zahra (as). And they know a reasonable person would never follow the Sunni path praising the first three Caliphs.

We Thank Allah (swt) we can utilize these new tools (such as internet, youtube, etc) to better spread the truth which is not only good for Shia, but it is also good for Sunnis. In fact better. Because they are brothers of our faith and are the true victims because over 1400 years, they have been concealed the truth.

So this is why they (Sunni scholars) insist that this didn’t happen. Because if they do accept it, their entire Madhab (school of thought) will collapse which will equal to them losing power and authority and rule over their people.

Munajat of Imam Ali

Munajat are type of prayers that are said slowly and something personal between you and your Lord. These are also known as whispered prayers.

Imam Ali (as), the commander of faithful and rightful successor of prophet (pbuh&hp), used to do all sort of such prayers. Some faithfuls (momenins) were able to heard him and write it down. He also taught a lot of it to his sons and his close companions.

In the past, we have shared some of these duas one of which is called Dua Kumail which we recite every Thursday night the day before Jumma.

Below, is another beatiful munajat of holy Imam, that is full of wisdom and piety, and “taqwa”.

Imam Ali Birthday

Imam Ali (as) is Hujjat of Allah (swt) on earth. He is the flag holder of Islam, and true guider and Caliph after the holy prophet prophet  peace be upon him and his holy progeny.

Today, Rajab 13, is anniversary of birthday of holy Imam (as), and we lovers and followers of Ahlulbayt (as) celebrate this day. Also it is important to know that holy Imam’s birth was very miraculous way as s he was born in Kaabah. This is from both Shia and Sunni sources as indicated in the video below:

Ali Ali Maula, Ali Ali Master, Ali Ali Agha, Ali Ali Seyed!

We Salute you ya maulana, ya seneyda, Imam Ali (as). Below are some songs dedicated to the holy Imam:

Deadly Tornado in Oklahoma – Helping our Brothers & Sisters in Humanity

“A person is either your Brother in faith, or your equal in humanity.” — Imam Ali (as)

Imam Ali (as), our first Imam and true successor of prophet Mohammad (pbuh) simplified the entire humanity in religion of Islam in above narration. The term “Brother” implies to both brother and sister as the Arabic language tends to be on masculine side so when such words are used, readers assume both sexes. (like brother and his wife, etc)

Humanity is at major loss right now according to Quran. It has divided itself into sects and groups, and it is at wars. Perhaps this is one of the reason things like this happens because prophet Mohammad (pbuh &hp) thought us that God has created mankind primarily so that they may know their creator through his creations. So when things like this happen, all of our hearts will be in sorrow and want us to help each other and that gives us, humanity, hope.

So we invite all of our website readers and visitors to help us do our share by contributing and helping relief groups as every penny counts. Click here to donate as every penny counts.

Who is God?

Imam Ali (as) the rightful leader and successor of prophet answered the question below when he was asked by one of his companions about the true nature of God below is his answer.

That person asked about “Have you seen your God?” Imam Ali (as) responded “I would never worship a God I do not see”. And then he goes on and says…well watch the video below…

The Veiled Verses – Women in Islam

The title of this video is great. It says “the veiled verses” which is verses that need further interpretations. Such verses exist in Quran that need expert interpretations according to tradition (Sunnah) of prophet Muhammad through his holy progeny (his purified family). In Islam, women are actually held of high status. Lady Fatima (as), the daughter of prophet Mohammad (pbuh) is being held of high rank to Allah (swt), prophet Muhammad (pbuh) first wife lady Khadija (as) the mother of Fatima (as), and Marry (as) mother of Jesus (as), along with many other women that are mentioned in both Quran and the today’s Bible.

The idea of women in Islam are more like “different by equal” type of ideas which is actually fairly reasonable. The video below is a nice comprehensive video from Shia scholars that discusses such verses according to correct teachings of Islam, the Islam of Ahlulbayt (as)
